Location: Locus Avenue

Details: Chief 269 on-scene reporting a working structure fire with entrapment. Chief 269 requested a second alarm be struck for RIT, on-scene air production, and additional manpower. 269, 125 and 266 crews provided initial knock down of heavy fire emanating from side "D" of the structure. Of those tasked with the primary search, two 267 crew members pulled a 1 3/4" handline with CAVS and re-entered the "D" side of the structure to provide assistance with the remainder of the heavy fire and the beginning of overhaul. The two 267 crewmembers exited the structure after their quarter service SCBA alarms engaged. 215, 266 ,268, 117 crews assisted with overhaul. Upon the declaration of the fire being completely under control and all overhaul finished, 267 crews assisted in cleanup operations. After 267 returned their equipment to serviceable operation, they cleared the scene.
