Seat Belt Policy (Zero Tolerance) – All Personnel Riding Or Driving A Fire Department Vehicle Is Required To Wear A Safety Belt While The Vehicle Is In Motion.  This Includes Both Emergency And Non-Emergency.

 

 

Apparatus Backing Policy (Zero Tolerance) – No Department Apparatus Will Be Backed Up, On Scene Or In Station, Without A Spotter/Backer Located At The Back Of The Apparatus.

 

 

SCBA Donning Policy (Enroute) (Zero Tolerance) – While Responding To An Emergency Which Requires The Use Of SCBA, The Facepiece Will Not Be Donned Until The Apparatus Has Arrived At Its Location And The Firefighter Has Exited The Apparatus.

 

 

Roadway Operations Policy (Zero Tolerance) – Any Firefighter Who Is Directing Moving Traffic At The Scene Of An Incident Or At Any Time, Is Required To Wear Full Turnout And A Reflective Vest.

 

 

Downgrading Responses – Apparatus Lights And Sirens Will Only Be Used For Emergency Responses.
